1. Why is there variation in color, shape and size of the dog treats?
The Dog Bonery treats are handmade and produced in small batches. The variation in color, shape and size is characteristic of baked goods made from scratch. This is what makes the Dog Bonery treats special and is how you know you are not getting a mass produced dog cookie. All of the dog treats regardless of color, shape and size will have the same high qualtiy, flavor and nutrition.
2. What if my dog does not like the treats?
If your dog does not agree that our treats are the best and does not like them, then contact us to get a full refund. We will either replace it with another flavor or refund your money, your choice. This is our 100% Casey Guarantee.
3. What about the ingredients in the Dog Bonery treats, are they truly wholesome?
Yes, the ingredients are wholesome. Just read the back label on our package or scroll through the product images on our website. The ingredient list contain items you have heard of, like wheat flour, carrots, corn meal, nutmeg, etc. All of our ingredients are purchased in small quantities to maintain freshness. Inorder to make a high qualtiy dog treat, we need to have quality ingredients right from the start.
4. When and how do I use the Palm Balm?
The Paw Balm is 100% natural. Made with bees wax, olive oil, essential oils and vitamin E. The balm should be stored in a cool dry place. Use the product on your dog's paw, it will help moisturize your dog's paws and prevent cracking. Place a small amount of the balm on your finger tips and massage gently into the paw pads. The balm should not be used a cure for cracked paws but as a preventive measure. If your dog has cracked paws you can still use the balm, but as a responsible pet owner you should contact your veterinarian if the condtion does not improve or worsens.
5. How does the coffee soap work?
Coffee is a natural deodorizer. The coffee soap will help remove odors from your dog's coat-naturally. The soap base is glycerin which will form a rich lather that will make your dog's coat feel soft. The essential oils will provide a subtle clean fragrance. Vitamin E is added as a natural preservative.
6. Will my dog smell like coffee when I use the coffee soap?
No. Your dog will not smell like coffee. The purpose of the coffee is to remove the odor. The essential oils and glycerin soap base will leave a sublte pleasant clean odor.
7. Is the coffee soap only available in bars?
At this time, the coffee soap is only available in 4 oz bars. A liquid coffee soap is in development and will be available in 2009.
8. Will the Dog Bonery offer any other flavors than the five listed?
Yes. The Dog Bonery plans to have seasonal and limited edition flavors. Keep an eye out for our special Christmas cookie; RED and GREEN for the holiday season.
9. How should I store the dog treats?
The Dog Bonery treats do not contain any preservatives and should be used before the date stamped on the bottom of the package. The treats will maintain their flavor and freshness if stored in a cool dry place. You could even store them in the refrigerator.
10. Will you have any cat treats?
At this time we do not have any cat treats. We love cats. But our focus for the next year will be on developing our dog treats and grooming supplies. Keep watching. Maybe some day we will have at "The Kitty Catery.com" or a "Cat Treatery.com".
